If you feel like your work has been in vain, realize that you didn’t have the best head-start, so you’ve been forced to work 10 times harder than those who mock your plight. Don’t pay these idiots any mind as you continue to walk your path. Those same people laughing at you would break instantly if they were to be in your position. They have no idea what they’re talking about.
Don’t feel bad about your current circumstances, if you’re actively working on improving your life even if the pace has been slow. Steady is the way anyway. At least you’re still moving even though you weren’t suppose to. Practice gratitude daily and keep pushing forward regardless of the lifestyles social media portrays with its unrealistic expectations and toxic distractions. Get your mind off that fake virtual world that brings forth that dark cloud and focus on yourself. Live in reality and learn to appreciate your own existence.
Don’t expect people to understand what you’re going through because most don’t or they simply just don’t care until it happens to them.
Let me tell you a story while I was delivering food at an apartment complex.
I overheard someone at the leasing office talking shit and laughing at the fact that some people were getting evicted because they were struggling to make ends meet. Who knows what type of situation they could be going through – like getting fired/laid off, suffering from a car accident, or any other unexpected financial burden, but apparently that’s funny to some people, and worthy of juicy “gossip” to degrade innocent people.
I understand that an eviction is inevitable if rent isn’t getting paid, but it was very unprofessional and disgusting for the leasing staff to humiliate and smear their names to coworkers for the tenants to hear down the hall, laughing at the fact that they couldn’t afford the rent, and bragging about always winning court cases despite how shitty the building condition is. They ought to be condemned because there are plenty of health code violations in there, including an infestation. I see why that place has so many bad reviews.
Look, just because they happen to be doing well financially, doesn’t give them the right to spit on those who are not. They don’t know who they’re mocking and laughing at, and I got a feeling that something bad is going to happen to their company. They are cursing themselves by gaining pleasure from having power over people’s livelihoods and kicking them when they’re down. We all know how much God doesn’t like ugly, and the Universe sets things straight by finding a way to put those same people in that very same predicament (or something similar). That’s the beauty of karma, also known as “reaping and sowing.”
I can’t tell you how many times these type of people have disgusted me with their lack of empathy and disingenuous attitudes toward our socio-economic backgrounds, and how difficult it is to reach upward social mobility, especially with little to no support. That, on top of mental health issues from past traumas.
They don’t recognize the humanity in us no matter how hard we put in countless hours of work. Our exhaustion is viewed as laziness because they can’t see our efforts when we’ve gone from -100 to 0 – the type of labor they could never handle. All they see is that we’re still at 0 because they weren’t there to see how much worse it was when we were down in the negatives. They never had to experience that and it shows because of the stupid, callous remarks they say, assuming that we all have had the same upbringing, environment, and access to resources as they, so they look down on us as if they know us.
They don’t know shit about us!
They don’t know what it’s like to inherit generational curses that we’ve been placed to break as the world continues to break us.
Instead, we will break free!
Release from the psychospiritual bondage and from the generational oppression of the financial, mental, and spiritual aspects of our lives.
Use your mind to increase the power of your aura that will burn through the darkness from these soulless individuals when they come close to you. The barriers they place on you will break. They will be the ones who end up broken – not you, as long as you stand by God, no one can be against you, but if they want to be, they will surely lose. Because going against the Creator is equivalent to going against yourself, so you keep doing you.
No one knows how far you’ve come until you reach ultimate success and live to tell your story. But for now, just keep making things better by the day.
