There’s a lot of fascinating and scary things you’ll encounter when your spiritual senses awaken. This can leave imprints on the psyche if you give into what they’re trying to impose on you. The devil cannot force you to do something, but he can manipulate you into going the wrong route.

This is why discernment is important. You have to view these life events and supernatural occurrences as moves on a chessboard.

Don’t be impulsive. Just watch.

Observe the enemy and figure out the pattern of his moves. These events and spiritual attacks could be conveying a message. It tells you how the enemy moves, so you find ways to counteract that by recognizing these patterns and moving accordingly.

You must understand the power of your voice and thoughts. It’s always best to pray out loud, declaring your dominion over your temple: your home, body, and soul.

You are the one in control here, but they’ll try to instill fear into you in order to extract your energy. They’ll try to control your thoughts in this moment and the anxiety can cause you to get distracted by that sense of panic because you can’t speak or breathe.

This is what will allow you to gain a lot of mental fortitude as a result because these episodes are psychologically stressful, and can be traumatizing when you never find out what’s going on.

The thing you must always know is that there’s nothing to fear. The anxiety that’s induced is an illusion created by the enemy to control your emotions, so they can extract your energy during the night.

Your fearlessness increases the power of your faith thus making your declarations against the darkness much more potent. Even if you can’t speak, the power of your thoughts during this time is important. Regain control of your conscious mind and reject the negative influence they try to cloud your mind with.

Understand that they have NO power over you. You are the connected to the infinite source of life, which is God. The Most High is the one who empowers us especially when we seek Him and His Divine Wisdom.
