Survivalism Increases Mental Fortitude & Graditude

I’ve always been fascinated by the concept of survivalism ever since I was a kid. I would ask myself, “What would I do if I was stranded in a remote island?” Then, I would imagine what I would do in that scenario, and whatever I didn’t know I would research about it. I knew that if I could figure out various strategies on how to win, then I would be training my mind to adapt to any given situation.

The concept of improvising with the little resources you have will give you an advantage over those who were given things without earning it. You don’t allow anything to distract you because survivalism forces you to concentrate on things that need to get done within a short time span. You begin to develop a sense of mutual respect for your partner or group because of the selflessness and reciprocal contributions. They won’t leave you for dead, and they’ll make sure you’re good as long as you’re doing your part.

Survivalism will also test your mental fortitude and problem solving skills. Negativity, nagging, and complaining will never help. All it’ll do is waste your energy or drain those around you, thus increasing the risk of dying off. Being put in a natural environment forces you to adapt to your surroundings. It makes you more resilient. Problems and even a little sense of danger can keep you on your toes, so you can handle each and every situation with ease. You’ll master the art of adaptability. The wilderness is the perfect place to activate those inner human instincts of survival which forces you to think about the things that truly matter in life. You’re not gonna be worrying about the frivolous things of this world. You’re not gonna have the energy to stress over the littlest things because in the wilderness you are forced to direct all your energy toward SURVIVAL.

You’ll begin to appreciate the luxuries you’ve had back home, and learn to not take things and people for granted. You will value your partner for genuinely being there for you. You’ll appreciate their support, and not care about superficial and shallow qualities because you’ll know what true value really is. Vanity will not save you. A person who brings you peace will be the one you really want. There’s a beauty behind a couple working together and building a better life for each other. That’s just something that selfishness and greed cannot accomplish.

Takers can’t survive the wilderness because survival depends on each individual’s contribution. No one has the privilege to leech off of someone else. Those types of people usually get exiled from the tribe because they’ve become a liability. Everyone must add to the group because everyone’s life depends on it. There’s no room for weak links. Everyone is forced to become stronger and more skilled. This is the beauty of living in these natural elements. The weak will either became stronger and evolve, or they’ll end up getting weeded out of existence. Challenges can sharpen you if you allow it to humble you. The only way to grow is by being humble, and acknowledging your weaknesses so you can turn them into strengths. Otherwise, if you give up, your lineage will no longer exist. You’d be wiped out as the strong ones multiply.

You can apply the survivalist frame of mind when working out for example. Ask yourself:

Would you stop running if your life depended on it?

No the hell you won’t! So why are we so quick to give up? Because we’re not put in an environment where our lives depend on our athleticism and physical strength. We have the luxury to be lazy, weak, and out of shape in America. That’s why this nation has the highest obesity rates. We’re too damn comfortable here.

When your life depends on it you will be forced to adapt in order to live, and that element is missing in modern society. Modern society uses mass media to program people into becoming more narcissistic which overtime leads to a reprobate mind. The reason why they do this is to weaken the human race, so that it becomes easier to control and distract them. The irony in this is that narcissists always seek to control others, yet they’re not aware that they themselves are being controlled by mass mental conditioning and social engineering. Narcissism is not compatible with survivalism at all because they are takers, and in order to survive you must fend for yourself. Joining a tribe will enhance your survival, but you are expected to contribute as you should. Each person has to work together and add to the table in order to grow and thrive. However, a taker will negatively affect the longevity of that tribe. Those manipulative games won’t work in the wilderness. You don’t play games. You hunt for game.

Unfortunately, in this modern world, everything is controlled by the money system which is losing its value by the day, yet many people worship it and use it as a barometer to measure someone’s worth. Money is an illusion that makes one-who-has-plenty-of-it appear valuable, but how will this person react to an economic collapse? What skills and mindset do they possess that can help them adapt to apocalyptic times? Most likely, they probably never thought about that because they’re so inculcated in this matrix that they cannot fathom losing the one and only thing that makes them feel “high value.” There are certain things money just can’t save you from.

If you ask me, the true testament of strength and value lies not only in morals and integrity, but also in the ability to adapt and survive in any condition like our ancestors used to do. Such a person is reliable and dependable, as well as a great asset to the team. A man’s value was once determined by how well he can hunt because that would ensure provisions for his wife and children, as well as the whole tribe if he’s a chief. Leaders are greatly respected for this reason as they also teach the young generation how to become great men, and they would take pride in providing and protecting their family and tribe.

Living off of the land has a way of teaching you how to be an exceptional human being. Wisdom will naturally pour into your mind because of the healing frequencies the sounds of nature provides. There’s no noise pollution or toxic babble. Imagine how much better we can be when we absorb more serene vibrations. Overtime we become aligned with nature which is being in a constant state of peace. Just like how a toxic environment can make us unstable or volatile, we can become like our environment when we move to a more tranquil place. This world can drive anyone nearly off the edge, so it’s best to try to put yourself in a favorable position. Recovery is always available for anyone who actively seeks it.

The calmness of the mind is key too because the best decisions are made with a clear and sound mind. That’s why this world tries their best to rattle your emotions in order to stop your auspicious flow, and make you forget about who you are. That’s why it’s important to keep yourself grounded, stand firm to who you are, and muffle out the noise from the world. Spending time in nature is the closest thing to connecting to God, which will serve as a reminder of who you are and the value you carry within.

You can learn a lot about a person by how they handle difficult and challenging scenarios. Life can throw a buncha stuff at you, and we have to make sure that we’re ready to go through the fiery hoops. It is important to be in physically, mentally, and spiritually tip top shape, in order to ensure successful results. Use that time of peace to prepare for war. You never know when it’ll come knocking at your door, or when the demons will barge through it. You gotta be ready for anything. Train during times of peace, so you can be ready when war ignites. Don’t allow this world to rob you of your natural instincts to adapt in healthy ways that will allow you to thrive. It is in our DNA, but the matrix will try to dull it out by distracting you from your true power. Being self-sufficient is a superpower they don’t want you to know about. Keep learning about it anyway.
